Bar Cesar

Bar Cesar on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland brings us to our next destination! Open for happy hour is a pleasantly priced Tapas restaurant. The restaurant does have a gender friendly restroom, and while it is unclear as to whether or not they created the restroom with trans* people in mind, they definitely did with wheelchair accessibility in mind.

Cesar’s friendly wait staff, awaits you! You can make a reservation online and go in knowing that you will able to dine, and potty comfortably. The GM is interested in the communities ideas when it comes to the restaurant, stating ““There’s a real core group of neighborhood folks that are calling for larger plates,” says Brandel, noting that they used to only have one large plate (paella); now they have about five, like the quesadilla, chile relleno and steak dishes.”

The restaurant primarily serves high priced small plates, but if you can afford it, they’re worth it! Let’s take a look at some of their irresistible items: Baja Style Crispy Shrimp Tacos, Beer batter, arbol chile aioli, red cabbage
Carnitas Tacos,Certified Angus Beef, cilantro, onions, salsa verde and Aguacate Rellenos are all to die for!
